Chronic Grace

Finding the Grace in a Life With Chronic Illness

Wordless Wednesday

September 6, 2017

One last summer pic before the switch over to fall, which currently is my favorite season. (Although if you ask me next April, yes, spring will be my favorite season…in June, I most likely in will say summer…and of course there is one season being left out which will remain nameless, although I love it in December as long as it brings us pretty, fluffy snow for Christmas.)

  1. Fall first and then spring – summer and winter both have their negatives and positives. I hate hot and I dislike cold. Please let us have a long, beautiful autumn this year.

    1. Sarah, I’m with you! I hate temperature extremes. I am hoping for a long, beautiful autumn a well…all too often our Minnesota autumns get cut short by nasty weather in October. Please God, not this year!

    1. Thanks Carolyn 🙂 it seemed like a fitting end-of-summer post. Also, the Minnesota State Fair always comes the last two weeks in August and ends on Labor Day, so it always signals our Minnesota goodbye to summer! Now on to fall and lots of gorgeous colors…

      1. Im pretty excited about fall colors … although we did not get a whole lot of change here where I live, the little we get will be so much fun to photograph. Happy Fall Barbara!

      2. As it turns out, I didn’t get a chance to get out to photograph the fall colors as much as I’d hoped 😦 And our two maples never really turned colors. It’s weird. They were late to turn and then we got a long cold snap (which we are still in) and all of their leaves are yellow and green. No reds. I am totally bummed.Oh well…we still had our beautiful fall flowers!
